When I leave my piece to be fired, how long until I pick up the finished item?

At Elodie's Oddities, we strive to have all your pieces fired and ready for pickup within one week. Please note that during busy periods, there may be a slight delay. Rest assured, we will always notify you via text when your item is ready for pickup.

Can I schedule a Paint Your Own Pottery party at your studio for a birthday or other event? Can Parties be scheduled outside of your studio?

Looking to host a party, shower, or special event? Look no further! At Elodie's Oddities, we provide a painting room where you can gather and celebrate. Simply email us to book a time that suits you!

In addition, we offer off-site parties too! Contact us via email for more details and let us bring the creative fun to your preferred location.

Can I paint at home?

Yes! We have an option called Take Home Pottery!

How long do you keep items?

At Elodie's Oddities, we kindly store your items for a period of 60 days. After this time, we will make an attempt to contact you, providing an additional two weeks for item retrieval. Please note that if the item remains unclaimed after this period, we will dispose of it.

How long does it take to create?

At Elodie's Oddities, the duration of your painting experience is entirely up to you! Our painters range from spending hours immersed in their creations to those who finish more quickly. On average, adults typically spend around one hour, while kids take a little less time. Rest assured, we provide toys and crafty items to keep the little ones engaged while you focus on your masterpiece. Please keep in mind that the time required depends on the chosen pottery piece, your design preferences, and the level of detail involved.

Do I need a reservation to paint?

No reservation required for painting at Elodie's Oddities! While making a reservation helps us better prepare for your group, it is not mandatory.

Is there an age requirement to come in?

At Elodie's Oddities, kids of all ages are warmly welcomed! While children often finish their painting projects before adults, we have thoughtfully curated a kid play area filled with toys and engaging items to keep them entertained while parents complete their artwork.

Do I need a reservation for an event?

Events at Elodie's Oddities require seat reservations in advance. It is highly recommended to secure your seat reservation promptly as our events often sell out quickly. Please note that without a reserved seat, participation in the event may not be possible.

Will my piece be food safe?

At Elodie's Oddities, our glaze is not only non-toxic but also food safe, making it suitable for application on any functional item. However, we also provide acrylic paint options for those who prefer them, although it's important to note that acrylic paints are NOT food safe.

Do you ship?

Yes! We have a $15 flat rate fee per address. 

I'm not finished with my piece but I need to leave what are my options?

Receive a slip from us at Elodie's Oddities, allowing you to take your unfinished pottery home and return within a 6-month period to complete your masterpiece. Don't forget, you can also take glaze and brushes home to continue your creative journey!
